Fazeley in the rain

Yes the Big Canoe has cruised to Fazeley and on to Fazeley Mill Marina for much needed supplies of diesel/gas /and coal.

Thank goodness i don't have to paddle it along but able to use the engine now I have a full tank of diesel.

ITS SUMMER AT LAST

Its that BIG CANOE again complete with a spot of new paint . We have moved from Fazeley down the Bham and Fazeley canal for a bit of peace and quiet and the chance to put some paint on the boat . Tomorrow we will return to Fazeley for a day where we will stock up the food store again .

YES ITS THAT BIG CANOE AGAIN

Yes we are cruising again but i ask will we be able to cruise again next year or will we sit still and just charge the batteries . Well at least we are cruising at the moment we have cruised from Handsacre to Sutton Road Bridge at Fazeley and only been down the weed hatch once today.

THE RETURN OF CHI-CHEEMAUN or big canoe

Does this look like a big canoe well never mind its on the moove again .

We started our cruise from Otherton Boat Haven and cruised to Radford Bank from there we have cruised to Tixel Wide and Gt Haywood . After a night at Gt Haywood we have now cruised to Handsacre where we found that the Crown Pub had closed down but the good news is the chippy is still open .

ITS TIME FOR A CRUISE

We will be on our way towards Gt.Haywood just to stop us forgetting why we are on the boat.

Its time for the boat to get some movement and not just sit on the water ,well atleast we will have plenty of water and not scrape the bottom of the canal.
